REMINDER: All first-time-in-college students as well as students who are on academic alert or probation are required to come in for advising prior to registration.

  Spring 2015 Important Class Dates
Date Academic Event
January 20 Classes begin.
February 2 Census.
February 3 Beginning this date a student who wishes to drop a course must first receive written consent of the instructor.
February 10 Last day for undergraduates to apply for May 2015 graduation.
March 2

Last day for student to receive automatic grade of W for nonattendance.

Last day for change in pass/no pass status.

Last day to drop a course or withdraw from the semester with a grade of W for courses that the student is not passing. After this date, a grade of WF may be recorded.

April 7

Last day to drop with either W or WF.

Last day for a student to drop a course with consent of the instructor.

April 20 Beginning this date, a student who qualifies may request an Incomplete, with a grade of I.
April 24

Last day to Withdraw (drop all classes).

Last day for an instructor to drop a student with a grade of WF for nonattendance.

May 8 Reading Day (no classes).
May 9-15 Final Exams.
May 15 Last Class Day.

                        Spring 2015 Registration Dates

Registration for Spring 2015 is open for all continuing students until 4:30 p.m. January 8, 2015.  Payment is due by 5 p.m. January 8, 2015 for all registration that occured by 4:30 p.m. January 8, 2015.
Registration for all students who have not registered by January 8, 2015 will start at 7 a.m. January 9, 2015 and continue until 5:30 p.m. January 15, 2015.  Payment is due by 6 p.m. January 15, 2015.
Late Registration will start at 7 a.m. January 16, 2015 and end at 5:30 p.m. January 21, 2015.  Payment is due the same day you register by 6 p.m.

Gradudate Student Support Grants for Spring 2015

The College of Arts and Sciences is providing travel assistance for graduate students to present at conferences or conduct research.  These competitive Travel Support Grants of up to $500 are available for academically successful graduate students.  The Spring 2015 application period covers travel occurring between January 1, 2015 and May 31, 2015, with applications due to Debra Griffin in GAB 220 by January 23, 2014Click here for application and additional information.
