Biology, Chemistry, Math, and Physics students should visit the College of Science.

All other students should visit the College of Liberal Arts & Social Sciences.


UNT Visiting Writer Series

The Visiting Writers' Series: New Faculty Reading will feature reading and book signing by Jehanne Dubrow, Ian McGuire, and Jill Talbot.

The event will be held on September 28th at 8:00pm in Sage Hall room 116. Join us after the reading at Harvest House on Hickory Street

Jehanne Dubrow's sixth book, Dots & Dashes, won the Crab Orchard Series in Poetry Open Competition Award and will be published in 2017. Her work has appeared in Virginia Quarterly Review, The New England Review, Ploughshares, and The New York Times Magazine.

Ian McGuire grew up near Hull, England, and studies at the University of Machester and the University of Virginia. He writes criticism and fiction, and his stories have been published in Chicago Review, The Paris Review, and elsewhere. His recent novel The North Water was longlisted for the 2016 Man Booker Prize.

Jill Talbot is the author of The Way We Weren't: A Memoir and the editor of Metawritings: Toward a Theory of Nonfiction. Her work has appeared in journals such as Brevity, DIAGRAM, Ecotone, Fourth Genre, The Paris Review Daily, The Normal School, Slice Magazine, and has been listed as Notables in Best American Essays 2014, 2015, and 2016.
